The menu offered a variety of appetizing options, and the price was very reasonable considering the exceptional quality of the food. My only regret was not being able to try the fish, which is supposedly one of the restaurant's specialties. “ This was a fun destination for a day trip. The restaurant is unassuming from the exterior. However the food was worth the trip. Our waitress was so welcoming and sweet. It didn't take to long from ordering to our plates being served. They serve an appetizer gratis. It's something like a chunky dip that we spread on crackers. Very flavorful with relish, horseradish, creamcheese plus more. I was told it is made with 23 ingredients in total. My order came with three pieces of fish and three shrimp plus two sides. Their catfish and shrimp is lightly breaded and delicious. I had to try their hushpuppies. I consider them a standard by which I gauge the quality of the overall seafood goodness. They were pretty good. And I have an affinity for warm greenbeans made with bacon and a tomato base. One of my favorites. Overall, I was happy we made the trip I am looking forward to come back soon. Also, the dip served with crackers, turned out it is their homemade tarter sauce. You need to try it. ”

“ We were here for Valentine’s Day 2025, so it was very busy. In spite of that, our order came out quickly and cooked to perfection. Our server was wonderful. The view, overlooking Baffin Bay, is awesome even in February. I had the fried oysters and my husband had the seafood platter. Like I said, everything was cooked to perfection! ”
“ WOW!!! Need I say more? No but I will. Absolutely phenomenal fresh seafood! If you are traveling between corpus and Brownsville I would definitely make the time for this stop. It’s only about 10 minutes off the main highway I recommend sitting outside taking in the lovely breeze and view. I went while there was three very large parties Cassie was phenomenal very responsive and overall complementary to the experience. ”
